Having been in business since 2001, Elite Home Inspections realizes what an important part of a real estate process we are. Our goal is to provide professional services while keeping in mind the complexity of the real estate transaction.

We are a mulit-inspector, nationally recognized company with NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and hold the highest certification available as "certified master inspector". We are also licensed in North Carolina and annually inspect in excess of 700 homes.
​
We have a full time office staff available to you with regards to any questions you may have, to electronically send reports, and to schedule an inspection, as we realize home inspections can be time sensitive.
​
Our reports are clear, concise and are computer generated. The report is usually available same day, via email, and is provided no later than the following business day, in the event that you are unable to attend the actual inspection.
​
Our inspection agreement and invoice are emailed to you for online completion, accepting credit/debit, in the event you may have to be absent at the time of the inspection or are an out of town client. This offers you a quick, easy and secure way to complete the necessary documents, without delaying the scheduling of your inspection. We accept personal checks as well, if you will be present and prefer to pay at the time of the inspection.

Jeff Hardesty
Owner and president of Elite, Jeff is licensed multi-state home inspector and a nationally certified master inspector, with over 45 years combined experience in home inspections, construction, engineering and remodeling. He holds several US Patents for engineering inventions. Jeff has also general contacted three personal homes, the last one a Barndominium where he and Michelle completed 95% of the build personally.
His advanced background in these fields enable him to offer inspections in a sensible and level headed presentation of findings.

Well known, and highly regarded, throughout our service area, Jeff is uncompromising on his inspection findings, remaining unbiased to all parties. He consistently trains and encourages the team to always stay on top of home inspection practices, tools, methods and continuing education.

Under his direction, the team continuously spend time modifying the reporting software to maintain the most personal, precise and informative report available, with unprecedented consistency.

Michelle Hardesty
Owner and VP of Elite, Michelle is available to help you with a multitude of questions or concerns, as well as scheduling jobs and helping to maintain relations with associated parties involved in your real estate transaction.
Understanding the time sensitivity of these transactions, she works diligently to keep our company cutting edge and always available to you by also maintaining our online scheduler.

With over 22 years in the industry, and over 35 years experience in customer service, sales and management, Michelle continues to expand her knowledge by completing over 3000 home inspections, as an associate, in order to better provide customer service to our clients, and maintains continuing education for her related fields to enable our company to offer the excellence and consistency our clients and associates have come to expect.

Michelle also handles the advertising, marketing and accounting departments.

Logan Self
​
A licensed Multi-State Inspection and nationally certified professional inspector, Logan also holds a Bachelor Degree in Statistical Psychology. This brings a structured approach to the collection, and interpretation, of data observed during an inspection and the ability to draw sensible conclusions and accurately describe general properties. A profound ability in this trade!
Spending months in the field, under the direct supervision of Jeff, Logan has applied himself to learning our process, presentations and software. He spends countless hours expanding his knowledge of this field, to offer you only the best, and is dedicated to you, and every inspection he performs.
Logan has gained great experience in the construction field in his years with us. He has performed his own extensive home remodel, including full structural, electrical and plumbing replacement, and worked with Jeff and Michelle in the complete build of their Barndominium. This hands-on experience only serves to provide you a more thorough and sound home inspection!
